I've long admired Rol Hirst's comics work, which I first encountered back in my student days, I think. Most people will talk about his vaguely-cyberpunk, Matrix-foreseeing epic The Jock, but I always wished that he'd finish off the romantic misanthropy of Escape Committee. Still do, in fact.

Ever since, I've been badgering Rol to write a script for me to draw and in the summer of 2008, he sent me a script called "Rooms For Writers", the first page of which you can see below.
