Okay... so this guy used to be a notorious supervillain in the multiverse of played-by-not-many-people rpg Weirdness Central. He was finally defeated in battle with his world's heroes, who decided to end his threat to their world once and for all by mindwiping him and dumping him in another reality. While they were nice and moral in not killing him, one of the "heroes" was enough of a bastard to have the words "Fuck You" tattooed onto this fellow's forehead.

He woke up in an unfamiliar world, confused and alone, and with profanity marked indelibly on his face. For some reason he decided that his name was Alex. He eventually rediscovered his ability to teleport vast distances (even across realities) via the generation of energy portals and assumed he must be some kind of superhero, even though elements of his supervillain personality occasionally crept through in the form of a general but mild misanthropy, and the occasional violent outburst.

Eventually Alex unlocked his memories but kept on the heroic path, and after helping to save the entire multiverse from a demonic invasion, disappeared into one of his portals.
