Quite a rough sketch this, but one I'm quite fond of. I think it's partly because of the dynamic pose, as one of the things I've always liked about both Nightcrawler and Spider-Man is their funky and agile body language. I also quite like the chunky exaggerated style I've used here, which is quite different from my normal look.

I think I'd like to achieve a middle ground between this and my more finished art; since this is only a quick sketch, I've not been afraid to exaggerate and play around, and I think I place too many limits and restrictions on myself when I'm doing "proper" art, often to the detriment of the finished piece. In an ideal world, I'd be able to both let loose and have fun as I did with this and take control enough to make sure that stuff like anatomy and perspective makes at least some kind of sense. One day perhaps...
